1: linear dimming curve

Waveform characteristics: the brightness and the control signal are in a linear proportional relationship

Advantages: Intuitive operation, suitable for basic scenarios, such as uniform lighting in meetings

compatible with all dimming modes,

Disadvantages: Low brightness area is easy to develop color temperature offset, measured offset 150K

2: logarithmic dimming curve

Waveform characteristics: The brightness changes conform to the logarithmic perception characteristics of human eyes

Advantages: The adjustment of the low brightness area is more fine, the visual transition is smooth, and the sudden jump is avoided

Disadvantages: special processing chips are required, costs increase, and the linear response of the camera does not match.

3: S-shaped dimming curve

Waveform characteristics: steep in the middle, gentle S-shaped change at both ends

Advantages: Avoid linear curve stiffness and logarithmic curve too soft defects, especially suitable for LED,COB light source characteristics

Disadvantages: need to repeatedly debug parameters to match the characteristics of the lamp, not suitable for fast dynamic scenes

4: Customize the curve

Technical core: programmable segment curve (support import LUT table)

Advantages: Precise matching of specific camera gamma curves for asymmetric adjustment (e.g. quick on, slow off)

Disadvantages: Long development time and calibration with spectral analyzer
