What does high-voltage insulation test mean ?
It is a detection method that applies high voltage to both ends of the insulator and maintains it for a certain time, it can evaluates the insulation performance by detecting the current flowing through the insulator.
Before starting the test, it is necessary to connect the high-voltage output line to the null line or live line of the fixture’s plug, and connect the ground line with shell of fixture. Press the power switch, set the current according to the lamp, press START button , the test time generally takes more than 60 seconds, and then the voltage can be adjusted. If the test fails, the machine has automatic alarm system , it will stop working .
