The function of a signal amplifier

The DMX signal amplifier can shape and amplify the signal, enhancing its clarity and accuracy. Each interface is relatively independent of each other, avoiding the phenomenon of damage caused by the DMX512 controller needing to control multiple components, and ensuring the safe operation of the DMX signal amplifier.

1. Prevent signal attenuation

Why is it necessary to add a signal amplifier between the console and the lamps instead of directly using the console to control the lamps? Because when there are many lamps in the studio and they are far apart, the signal transmission process will be somewhat attenuated. At this point, adding a signal amplifier can avoid the problem of uncontrolled lighting caused by signal attenuation.

2.Protect the lamps

The correct use of signal amplifiers to connect the console and the equipment can well protect the console. When the lamp malfunctions, the strong backflow generated will not burn out the control console. Instead, it will be blocked by the amplifier. Even if it causes the signal amplifier to burn out, the loss is greatly reduced in terms of both costs. On the other hand, signal amplifiers can facilitate wiring and also help enhance the signal.
